Do you like this stuff? Want a sneak peek at the next strip? If you answered yes to either of those questions, please support Avalon Alight by voting every time you stop by. The sneak peek is updated almost every day with new artwork. Thanks for the love!

As most of you know, it was my goal to complete a syndicate submission and then decide what to do next with Avalon Alight. I've decided not to continue on with it while waiting to hear if the syndicates have any interest, as the reader response has been pretty poor, and I do this as much for you as I do for myself. If the work doesn't inspire you then it's usually not worth it to me either.
Anyway, that's the bad news. The good news is I'll be returning to Suzie View for the time being, if only to keep pushing myself as a cartoonist in the hopes of further "improving my craft," as the pretentious expression goes... :) See ya there!
Later,
Erik

Never saw "Failure to Launch," so I hope I was able to capture the premise reasonably accurately. Well, there's just one more strip to go until the syndicate submission is complete! Hope you have enjoyed the ride. Now that it's time to hand off these strips to the syndicates, I haven't yet decided whether or not to continue posting new ones. I'll let you know, one way or the other.
Later,
Erik

Three strips left, people! This one is an example of a recurring theme that I would use, having Jake in the ticket booth in the first couple of panels and then following with a screenshot from a movie. I think I'd enjoying storyboarding like that. I guess you could say I'm a filmmaker myself, now! This must be what it feels like to be Spielberg... Erik the Hackberg...

What's funnier than a struggling magician and his talking rabbit? I'll be damned if I know! Check-out this web comic by James Burks, one of the best on the web.
