I'm Erik the Hack, and I like to tell stories. Oh, and jokes, I like them, too.

How often does the strip update?
The plan is to post new comics on Mondays and Thursdays. That's the plan, anyway...

What's the "process" thing all about?
If a given strip has a little, blue planet graphic beside its number, that means that an animation depicting the entire strip creation process has been posted. The "process" version of a strip is an animated GIF (and a large one, at that) that cycles through all phases of strip design: breakdowns, pencils, inks, and lettering. I just thought some readers might be interested to see exactly how a strip evolves from a crude breakdown all the way to a polished web comic.

It's about a guy who steps off of a bus one day with no memory of who or where he is. Oh, and inanimate objects like to strike up conversations with him.

No, I mean what's the deal?

Well, the deal is you'll probably have all of your questions answered in time. Probably. I think.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines "idiot" as "A foolish or stupid person." Both of those terms are fairly subjective, and you'd probably get a wide range of opinions if you asked those who know me if they are at all applicable to me. Personally, I'd have to say done and done.
Why would you say that? Are you a moron?
Just providing an honest, objective opinion based upon a lifetime of first-hand experience. And, again, we're talking about another subjective term here. A "moron" is commonly defined as a "stupid person," which I believe is already well-covered by "idiot."
Why should I read the web comic of a moron who thinks he's an idiot?
I can't answer that. Only you can decide whether or not reading about Jake and company is worth your time.
Are all of these questions really the frequently-asked variety?
You'd be surprised! Hmmm... or maybe you wouldn't.

If you are one of those people in search of an epic quest that pits fantasy's mightest heroes against that greatest of evils that shall not be named... er, look elsewhere. But, if you like to laugh at those people, this is the place to be!
